And guess what, the wedding is tomorrow =)
]]>- Preparation for the wedding is on the way, with most of the things settled.
- I bought a house, done up with renovation and furnishing. Now I realise time really passes so fast. I can still vividly remember the renovation process, but here i am, living here for the past 3 months already.
- I got myself a car, which I am still enjoyed of driving regardless of the rain and the sun. This year also marked the starting of shopping and eating in Malaysia and the refuelling of cheap petrol.
- I got promoted! Haha I did not get stuck in the rank structure. Phew.
- I got myself transferred back to I-branch again. I dunno whether if this is the correct choice, being either I can fly through the colours or fail again, with no point of turning back.
- This year marked the year of big spending. We got wedding rings, banquet, the wedding and also the house stuff. Phew. Thank god for the retention bonus I got in November.
- Didnt managed to get a chance to travel, being busy for most of the time.
- Friends are getting lesser and lesser, with them getting more and more engaged with their personal lives. Who isn't?
- Luck in job hunting wasn't good. And it really made me realise there are so many ppl who are over-qualified and fighting for your job.
And here we are, stepping into year 2010. A good start. The New Year resolution is to strike hard in I-branch. I'm wanna bring my career to a different level =)

Work in Sengkang has been tedious, with lots of follow up and the nitty gritty. But today, it marks the first day of me returning to I-Branch, and here I am, in the office typing this entry. My first tour will be on 23rd! I'm damn excited Muhahahah
Been busy with the wedding stuff, the car and the house things. Hosted a few house warming parties at home, with home-made food. I think we are more or less settled with the house, with the appilances and stuff all in. Just some more shoe rack and cupboards to buy in and we are done.
Had a meet the parents session with the in-laws to discuss abt marriage stuff, bought the cakes and such. Lots of things to be done.
I should have blog more frequent. Next month, will be my wedding. Let's get prepared for the christmas eve party first =)

Life has been wonderful recently. The things with the house is more or less settled and much of the things have been bought. Although Shari often come home late for work, she still cooked me dinner. I damn love home cooked food. Anytime. Thanks Shari!
Although work has been a bitch and boring, there is at least some break through over the weekends. The efforts really paid off, although management thought our results are still not as good as others.
And tonight, is the second time I am cooking because Shari is coming home late again. The first time was burnt rice, fried fish and vegetables. And while waiting for Shari to come back home, this is what I have cooked.
ok the image isnt very nicely taken. But I have to tell you the food is darn darn nice. The soup is salted vegetables with tofu, meatballs and fishballs. There is also veg with Samba Chilli and fried pig liver.
I can cook, so can you!
]]>Dun go for OPSH if you are looking for pole system wardrobe. Sales talks is good but the service is quite bad and unprofessional.
Everything is in already, TV, washers and all the stuffs. Left with minor things like rice cooker and oven.
It's a different lifestyle with 2 persons staying. Shari most probably got home later than me. And my bike broke down, so I taking the MRT to work everyday. Not much of a hassle to me really. But it will be difficult to travel to AMK since the bus journey will take more than an hour to go.
And darn it, my retention bonus has been delayed due to a system error, and darn it darn it.
I wanna buy a car~

I moved into my new home already! Haha everything in except from the tv. Good to be staying alone, apart that there is no internet access till now. The water pressure at home isn't so good, and I can't do anything abt it =(
Shari and I took our wedding pictures last week, going to club street and other places for the pictures. Seriously, it wasn't very tiring afterall. Let see the pictures 2 weeks later.
Work has been a bitch, but I'm glad we are stopping all the nightly thingy, and I wasn't involved in the F1 =)

]]>Work in my new house is almost complete, but was mostly delayed by the electrician who went to China for a holiday and most probably be back this week. I guess everything should be done up after he's back, left with the wardrobe.
I finally settled on the wardrobe! Finally, but with Shari's vast amount of clothes, I guess we need another wardrobe in another room to put her stuff. That woman keep stuff.
My wall in MBR was leaking water la. Apparently, the rain water seeped in through the cracks of the exterior walls of the block. Town Council will be doing the work. Pray.
What else. The wedding =)

]]>I can't fall asleep right now, must be the 2 hours which I had fallen asleep at Shari's. I kinda hate sundays though, when most probably I can't fall asleep and work is starting the next day. Nothing to look forward to, although you have one full day of rest.
Renovation at the house is largely completed, left only tiling for the kitchen floor and the fabrication of the cabinets, painting and false ceiling. Should probably take another 2 to 3 weeks.
We bought the necessary furniture and stuff, and the basin cabinet we settled for a magnum one.
RWS had yet to call me to offer.
I was listening to Cold Play earlier and it brought me back to thoughts of IB. (Partly Elton was a great fan of Cold Play and kept on playing this song)
I realise the era of mine is gone, with totally new people in IB and also diff culture. I missed the old times. Seriously.
Things we had bought so far:
- Franke Kitchen Sink and Tap, Cuztino Hood and Hob: $700
- Dunlopillo queen size bed: $2300 (comes with $200 carrefour vouchers)
- Sofa, TV console, dining tables and chairs, coffee table: $2700 (Actual price was $3000 without the coffee table)
- 2 Magnum toilet bowls: $310
- 1 basin and 1 tap: $155
- Rain shower with mixer: $380
- Ariston water heater: $210
We still so undecided to get a basin cabinet for our washroom. Ikea is selling this cabinet which comes with 2 basins, meaning that Shari and I can brush our teeth together lolz. Or we shall get this one which had the tap on its side?
The previous week was a bad one, starting with info of more work. I was working OT the whole week. It was suffering and darn tiring.
But this week started with a bang!.
The OT stopped.
My team won the 2nd runner placing in the snooker tournament.
I got a second interview
But the actual good news is:
I'm getting my house today!!
