The letter to Fiber Optics!

The letter to fiber optics finally came! Horay!

Haha I know my neighbourhood has a bit slow to install the fiber optics. I was especially pissed off when I heard of super-cheap fiber optic plans during the computer shows. I have been using Singtel’s broadband and the upload speed is a almighty slow.

I wanna upload a lot of my stuff to online storage for backup. Geez =)

And walla! I bought the Skins A200 Compression Tights from compressyourself.com for $58, inclusive of shipping.

Well, I guess I have been running quite a lot, although I stopped for almost 2 weeks recently, due to a personal problem. But now it’s time to go back into the routine.

Seriously I realise my body is very out of shape, and well I guess the diet and smoking plays a large part in it. I need to re-look into my daily diet and such. And start to work out a bit, rather than just pure running.

Rachel turning 8 months!

Yup Rachel turned 8 months a couple of days ago. Time do flies by when you have a kid. Rachel is steadily putting on weight. Oh she just started teething and 2 teeth at the front gum are already visible.

Rachel is also trying to crawl now, albeit her right leg is always caught stuck while trying to do so. =)

Like a boy wearing a swim suit!

We took Rachel for a swim last Sunday. Well this wasn’t the first time she went swimming.

The first time was Shari and I took her to Sengkang Swimming Pool on a Sunday I guess. And Rachel didn’t take it well as there were a lot of other kids shouting and splashing water all around us. In the end Rachel didn’t even get really wet in the water, apart from the big bucket of water that came down on us suddenly without us realising we were right under the  water area.

Last Sunday we took her to Orchid Country Club for a swim together with Charlotte and Reina. Rachel likes it quite well, apparently there wasn’t many people in the first place. Oh Shari bought her the swim suit the day before, and she looks like a boy boy wearing a swim suit lol

I think Rachel does like the water, cause she was kicking around and trying to swim with the aid of the buoy. I think we need to bring her to the pool more frequently though.

On a side note, I just finished attending the advanced investigation course, and well I didn’t know what I have actually taken away from the course. Increment is coming!

I thought that I should update that Rachel turned 7 months less than 2 weeks ago!

Rachel always like to stand up. It might be that her legs are mighty strong. We’ve got a feeling that Rachel might skip the learning process of crawling and end up taking her first steps instead. Anyway the walker was a much lighter and a bit smaller compared to the original walker that Rachel has, and definitely she walks around the house so much easier.

She likes to play with her saliva though, and blabbering and playing with her fingers in her mouth throughout the day. Her fingers and hands are often wet before she touches you on your face lol

And well the saliva part, lot of it actually drools onto her chest, causing a spread of eczema. Sherry and I has been looking for a cure to it but to no avail though. Just hoping she will out-grow it.

And the second thing that hit me was the enrolment for a certain course for SIOs. I was stepped over and was not included in the course. And only after I made noise then I was enrolled into the course. Oh well It’s supposed to be a good year for the careers of zodiac pigs right.

Well the job interviews never came, well partly I haven’t been as active to apply for jobs online. The wages increment, well came at a time where I am deciding to quit or not.

And then came the posting from CID. This infuriated me the most, where I was not even consulted before a decision was made.

Yawn.

In the walker

Time flies and Rachel is now already 6 months’ old. It’s intriguing to see what she have learnt, from the little smiles to the loud giggles, from the kicking of her legs to her running around the house in a walker =)
